David Burgess

About Me

David Burgess is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SecureNation, LLC, an innovative company that offers a wide variety of cutting edge technologies and IT services to address almost any of your information security, network security and information assurance needs. David has over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and an Advisory Board member for several high-tech companies. He was a 31P in Signal Corps in the US Army and Studied Computer Network Engineering Technology at Delgado Community College. He is accustomed to working in government agencies and carries Federal Top Secret clearance.

Prior to joining SecureNation David ran his own IT consulting business which was called ”Red Bean Data Networks” for three years. Before then David was the Information Technology Director at First Guaranty Bank which is one of the top five banks in Louisiana. While there he helped evolve the network security program into the highest grade possible by the FDIC and their compliance requirements.  He is very familiar with the Financial Industry and their IT problems as well as the compliance requirements they have.  David has worked with every type of company from Federal Agencies to State Departments and Colleges.  He is a results driven technology advocate and a huge resource for SecureNation and any of our clients.
