Doffie Benjamin “Ben”

About Me

Ben brings more than 20 years of experience to the information technology projects and sales support.  He has most recently been supporting the Channel Partners (VAR) focus on Data Center Virtualization and Cloud services. He began his sales engineer career with Computer Associates (CA), and later joined Tivoli Systems.  IBM purchased Tivoli and he began an IBM systems engineer role.  He has more than 40 different certifications and many years of customer engagements experience in the southwest region.  His focus is on discovering and developing projects that provide high performance and high availability solutions in data protection, replication, disaster recovery, and storage virtualization. These solutions involve local and remote locations utilizing Fibre Channel and IP related Storage Networks.  He served his country in the military with US Navy retired in Data Systems [Naval Intelligence Dept.] 1976 to 1985.  He maintains a membership with the Project Management Institute and Project Management Institute Local Houston Chapter.  He also served on the DeVry University Business and Industry Advisory Board providing input on course curriculum selection for the Master and Graduate Project Management programs.  He enjoys jazz music and playing a little jazz piano as a pass time and public speaking at Toastmasters International and he also enjoys motivational speaking.
