Richard Harris

About Me

Richard has been interested in the computer industry since high school and has worked in the field for the last 30 years. Richard has been a lead consultant for SecureNation for three years and he excels at quickly understanding new technologies and how they interact with existing installations. Richard is a native of Baton Rouge and is currently working under contract with NASA.

Richard is an insightful, results-driven Information Technology Professional with notable success directing a broad range of programming and operational initiatives while participating in planning, analyzing, and implementing solutions in support of key business objectives. With his eye for detail while still keeping the big picture in mind, Richard excels at providing comprehensive system analysis, information security, risk management, internal audit, and full cycle project management. Richards hands-on experience with all stages of system development including defining project requirements, project design, architecture, testing and support are the key values that he brings to SecureNation clientele.

Richard has spent the last several years as the IT Director of a locally based company with offices statewide and sales of over $300 million where he was the Technology and IT Security Director. Richard has a GSEC certification and he is an active member of ISACA and InfraGard.
